Last updated September 6, 2026. This page covers two things: how this website is built to be usable by everyone, and what a guest with a disability should know about the building and the residence before booking.
This website
Cavmir builds this site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as the target standard. That means, in practice:
- Semantic HTML with one main heading per page, landmarks for the header, navigation, main content and footer, and a skip-to-content link as the first focusable element.
- Descriptive alternative text on every meaningful photograph; decorative images and the hero film are hidden from assistive technology.
- Keyboard access to everything: the menus open with Enter or Space and close with Escape, the photo viewer moves with the arrow keys, and focus is always visible.
- Colour contrast at or above the AA ratio for text, with no information carried by colour alone.
- Text that resizes to 200 percent without loss, and layouts that reflow on phones without horizontal scrolling.
- Motion you control. The site animates by default; the Motion toggle in the menu and the footer switches to Calm, which stops the film, the scroll effects and the transitions, and the choice is remembered on your device.
- No time limits, no flashing content, no audio that plays on its own.
Known limitations
- The hero film has no captions or audio description because it has no sound and no speech; it is decorative, and the still photograph beneath it carries the description.
- The horizontal photo gallery in the Wellness section scrolls with the page on desktop; a native swipe list and the Calm mode present the same photographs as an ordinary sequence.
- Reservations are made on Airbnb, whose website's accessibility is Airbnb's responsibility.
- This is a preview; the finished website will be audited again before it goes live.

The building
The residence is on the twelfth floor of the Happiness Tower at Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences, a resort and residential building on Singer Island, Florida. Guests arrive at a residential lobby with 24-hour staff and valet parking, and reach the residence by elevator. The listing states that the building's elevator is at least 52 inches deep with a doorway at least 32 inches wide. The pools, fitness centre, spa, restaurants and beach service are operated by the resort, and the resort is the authority on their accessible routes, pool lifts, beach wheelchairs and accessible treatment rooms; ask the resort directly, because the residence's owner does not run them.
The residence
The residence's Airbnb listing does not declare accessibility features, so this description is drawn from the listing's amenities and photographs rather than from a measured survey, and it is offered so that you can decide whether to ask further.
- Entry: a single front door with a smart lock, reached from the elevator lobby on the twelfth floor. The listing does not state the door width or whether the entry is step-free.
- Layout: the living room, dining room and kitchen are one open space on a single level, with the two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a half bath off it. The photographs show tile floors throughout and no interior steps.
- Bathrooms: the primary bathroom has a freestanding tub and a glass walk-in shower with a step-over threshold; the second bathroom has a walk-in shower behind a glass door. Neither is described as a roll-in shower, and grab bars are not listed.
- Bedrooms: a king bed and a queen bed, each with space alongside. Bed heights are not listed.
- Balcony: reached through sliding glass doors from the living room and both bedrooms. The sill height is not listed.
- Kitchen: standard-height counters and island, with an induction cooktop and wall oven.
- Hearing and vision: smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are installed; the listing does not state whether they are visual or vibrating. There is no visual doorbell listed.
- Service animals are handled under Airbnb's accessibility policy. The listing does not accept pets.
If you need a specific measurement or feature, message the host through the Airbnb listing before you book and describe what you need; the host can measure and answer, and Airbnb's messaging keeps a record.
The island and the beach
The beach in front of the resort is reached through the resort's grounds; the resort's staff are the people to ask about beach wheelchairs and the route to the sand. John D. MacArthur Beach State Park at the north end of the island publishes its own accessibility information, including its boardwalk and nature centre. Palm Beach County's public beach parks and the museums in Palm Beach and West Palm Beach do the same on their websites, and the island guides link to them.
