The Spa and Wellness Resort Below
Take the elevator down and the whole floor changes. Below the residence sits a wellness centre of about one hundred thousand square feet: a hydrothermal circuit, treatment rooms, regenerative and longevity therapies, and quiet rooms to do nothing in. This page maps all of it, and links to a full, plain-language guide for every therapy.
01A wellness resort, an elevator ride away
Most vacation rentals put a gym in a spare room. OASENA sits above one of the largest wellness centres attached to any resort on the Florida coast — a floor of the building given over almost entirely to feeling better. Independent coverage, including Forbes, has put the centre at about one hundred thousand square feet, with twenty-two treatment rooms. What that square footage buys is range: a full hydrothermal bathing circuit, a suite of regenerative and longevity therapies that most spas simply do not carry, a menu of massage and manual bodywork, and, as much as anything, room to slow down between treatments.
None of it is required, and none of it is medicine. These are elective wellness services, and the sensible way to use them is the way you would use a good sauna or a deep-tissue massage: for comfort, recovery and rest, with your own doctor's blessing if you have a condition to consider. What follows is a plain map — what is down there, what each thing is thought to do, and where to read more before you book.
02How a wellness day is built
Most guests who use the centre well build the day around one anchor and let the rest fall into place. The anchor is usually the Aayush hydrothermal circuit — a sequence of warm and cold water, steam, sauna and salt that you move through slowly over an hour or two. Around it go the shorter, targeted things: a massage to finish, a session under red light or in the hyperbaric chamber to start, a quiet stretch of dry floatation when you simply want the world to switch off.
The three families below are the way we group it. Read them as a menu, not a prescription — you might do one thing in a week, or thread a little of each into every morning before the beach.
03Getting in as a residence guest
OASENA is a privately owned home within the resort, not the resort itself, so spa treatments and the hydrothermal circuit are booked directly with Amrit rather than through the host — offered to residence guests at preferred rates, subject to the resort's terms and availability. The residents' pool and whirlpool, the fitness centre and the beach come with the stay. Book the treatments you care about before you arrive; the good slots on the circuit and the popular therapists go first, especially in the winter season.
Common questions
Is the spa included with the residence?
The residents' pool and whirlpool, the fitness centre and the beach are included with your stay. Spa treatments and the Aayush hydrothermal circuit are booked separately with the resort, offered to residence guests at preferred rates, subject to the resort's terms and availability.
Should I book treatments before I arrive?
Yes. The hydrothermal circuit has limited capacity and the most-requested therapists fill up, particularly from November through April. Message the host through Airbnb if you would like help understanding what is available, then confirm treatments with the resort's spa team.
Are these therapies medical treatments?
No. Everything here is elective wellness, not medical care, diagnosis or treatment. Benefits vary from person to person and the evidence is stronger for some therapies than others — each guide is honest about that. If you are pregnant or managing a health condition, talk with a qualified healthcare professional before booking heat, cold, pressure or infusion therapies.
Which therapies are best for a first visit?
Most first-timers start with the hydrothermal circuit and a massage — the two most universally enjoyed — and add one of the regenerative therapies, such as red light or the hyperbaric chamber, out of curiosity. The individual guides explain what each session involves so you can plan without guesswork.
A note on wellness & health
This guide is general information about therapies offered at the resort spa, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Wellness services are elective and results vary from person to person. Talk with a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new therapy, especially if you are pregnant or managing a medical condition. OASENA is privately owned and is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences. Spa access is offered to residence guests at preferred rates, subject to the resort’s terms and availability.
